Shakira’s 2001 breakthrough album, Laundry Service, will get the anniversary treatment with a new digital edition. Laundry Service (Washed and Dried) (Sony Legacy) features four bonus tracks, including a previously unreleased remix of the album's first single, “Whenever, Wherever,” from Shakira’s performance at 2020's Super Bowl LIV.
The Colombian artist’s first album in English, Laundry Service was certified quadruple-platinum in the U.S. and went on to sell 18m copies worldwide. “It was a golden era for me,” Shakira says in a new video.
Five live-performance clips from the 2001 Laundry Service record-release party at Manhattan's Roseland Ballroom are available on YouTube today.
Shakira’s 12th studio album is due in 2022.
