VINTEN TAKES A&R SKILLS TO COLUMBIA

Katie Vinten is joining Ron Perry and Jen Mallory’s team at Columbia Records as SVP, A&R.

She will report to Rani Hancock, EVP Head of A&R for Columbia Records, who said, “Katie’s consummate understanding of songcraft and innate ability to nurture artists and creatives make her a wonderful addition to the Columbia Records A&R team.”

Vinten, proprietor of Black Diamond Management, was the co-founder of Facet Records & Publishing alongside Justin Tranter. She was previously Co-Head of A&R at Warner Chappell, where she signed Christina Aguilera, Julia Michaels, Hailee Steinfeld and Kygo, among others. So she has a lot of career highlights to balance the ignominy of appearing on this website.
