eONE IS REBRANDED AS MNRK MUSIC GROUP

Following Hasbro’s sale of its eOne music division in June, MNRK—pronounced Monarch—will now operate as a stand-alone consolidated company focused on recordings, publishing and artist management.

Said Chris Taylor, who has led the group since 2016 and will remain head of MNRK as President/CEO, “Our migration as a premium destination for music talent takes a giant step forward today with a new name and new owners who are incredibly well resourced and as excited about the opportunity as we are. We are ready to fly!”

MNRK will continue to work with eOne’s TV and film divisions—including music supervision—with projects set for release this year, among them music from Peppa Pig and the soundtracks to My Little Pony and the eOne/Netflix film The Starling. Additionally, MNRK is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Dualtone Music Group and the 30th anniversary of Death Row Records and is gearing up for album releases from The Lumineers, Juicy J, Todd Dulaney and Black Label Society.

MNRK’s roster also spans Brandy, The Game, Blueface, Pop Evil, Shovels and Rope and Jonathan McReynolds, as well as management clients KAYTRANADA, Lupita Infante, Powfu, Boston Bun, Lights and Arkells. It has publishing, meanwhile, on songs recorded by Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Cardi B and more.
