NEVERMIND AT 30: NIRVANA FOR FANS

Geffen/UMe has come up with more than 30 ways to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Nirvana's Nevermind, which was released on 9/24/91.

Beginning on 11/12, Geffen/UMe will release several multi-format reissues, ranging from Super Deluxe Editions of eight LPs or five CDs. The original record is newly remastered from the original half-inch stereo analog tapes to high-resolution 192kHz 24-bit.

Among the previously unreleased material exclusive to various versions of the Nevermind 30th anniversary editions are four complete live shows—Live in Amsterdam, Netherlands (recorded and filmed on 11/25/91 at the Paradiso); Live in Del Mar, California (recorded 12/28/91 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds); Live in Melbourne, Australia, for triple j (recorded 2/1/92 at The Palace in St. Kilda); and Live in Tokyo, Japan (recorded at the Nakano Sunplaza on 2/19/92).

The Super Deluxe Editions also include a 7-inch of “Endless, Nameless” b/w “Even in His Youth” and “Aneurysm.”

Other configurations span a single LP with the 7-inch, a two-CD set and download packages. Beyond the music, there is apparel galore, including T-shirts, sweatpants, a jacket and hoodies with multiple designs.
