A GOLDEN DEBUT FOR TENILLE
9/20/21

Team Tenille gathered to celebrate the gold certification of Townes' debut Columbia Nashville single, "Somebody's Daughter."

The track, which Townes co-wrote with Barry Dean and Luke Laird, topped Canadian Country Airplay charts and won Canadian CMAs for Single, Song and Video of the year. It appears on her JUNO Award-winning debut album The Lemonade Stand, released in 2020.

Surprising Townes before her opening slot for Brothers Osborne at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater: (l-r) Crystal Dishmon, Shopkeeper Management; Sony Music Nashville’s Ken Robold and Jennifer Way; Tenille Townes; SMN’s Randy Goodman, Caryl Atwood, Steve Hodges and Olivia Laster.

After saying "cheese" for the photo-op, Townes immediately shouted "Go Oilers!" and checked a Predators fan.
