Friday the 13th is proving lucky for The Killers and Dan + Shay as the albums they made during the lockdown sit high on the iTunes chart this Flipover Friday.
The Killers’ Pressure Machine (Island) tops the sales chart, with Dan + Shay’s fourth album, Good Things (Warner Nashville), coming right behind them.
Kosolom’s Slaughter to Prevail (Sumerian) is killing it at #4, one slot ahead of Ben Platt’s Reverie (Atlantic).
The debut solo set from 5 Seconds of Summer lead singer Luke Hemmings, When Facing the Things We Turn Away From (Arista), opens at #6. Bluprint’s self-titled EP is #7.
$uicideboy$’s Long Term Effects of Suffering (G59) is the lone album making it onto the Top 10 at both iTunes, where it’s #9, and Apple Music, currently at #7.
The only other new arrival at Apple Music is YNW’s Just a Matter of Slime at #10.
There are three new arrivals at iTunes songs. Lizzo & Cardi B’s “Rumors” (Nice Life/Atlantic) grabs #4; Machine Gun Kelly’s “paper cuts” (Bad Boy/Interscope) is #7; and Chris Stapleton’s interpretation of “Nothing Else Matters” from The Metallica Blacklist (Blackened Recordings), which comes out 9/10, is #8.
