CHARGERS, OFFSPRING CO-HEADLINE SOFI

Several thousand people showed up at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood Sunday afternoon for an L.A. Chargers open scrimmage—dubbed Chargers Fan Fest—that featured a concert by The Offspring and The Maine sponsored by ALT 98.7. Highlights included Justin Herbert's connecting with Keenan Allen for a one-yard TD, Derwin James' picking off of a Herbert pass and a fan crowd's surfing as The Offspring played.

"So much damn fun," one fan tweeted. "We are vaccinated and wore masks and still rocked the fuck out."

The Rams and their tenants the Chargers each played their eight home games last season in an empty stadium. That will not be the case when they play each other in a preseason game Saturday night at SoFi.
