Netflix’s Fatherhood and Disney+’s Loki are responsible for pushing three songs into the Shazam USA Top 100, while a four-year-old recording from Italy joins them among the Biggest Movers.
Fatherhood is responsible for getting thumbs wagging over Jacob Banks’ “Slow Up” (Darkroom/Interscope) from 2018 and Hozier’s 2019 track “Almost (Sweet Music)” (Rubyworks/Columbia). The songs are also in the Top 3 in the U.K., trailing Becky Hill & David Guetta’s new single, “Remember.”
The week’s top gainer, though, comes courtesy of Loki: Bonnie Tyler’s oft-synced “Holding Out for a Hero,” initially recorded for 1984’s Footloose.
