U.K. MIDWEEKS: NOEL NESTS AT #1

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds looks set to top the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart this week with "best of" collection Back The Way We Came Vol 1 (2011-2021) (Sour Mash). Over on singles, Lorde currently has the highest new entry.

Elsewhere on albums at the halfway point, six more new releases are vying for a place in this week’s Top 10; Garbage’s No Gods No Masters (BMG) is currently at #3, while a deluxe edition of Jessie Ware’s What’s Your Pleasure (EMI) has sent the album back into the Top 5. It's at #4.

Polo G’s Hall of Fame (Columbia) is new at #5, MigosCulture III (UMG) is #7 and Marina is poised to claim her fifth Top 10 record, with Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land (Atlantic) at #8.

Comedian Bo Burnham starts at #10 with Inside (The Songs), a self-released collection of comedic tracks that appear in his new Netflix stand-up special.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Lorde’s “Solar Power” (EMI) begins at #7, having racked up more than half a million streams since Friday.

Olivia Rodrigo remains at #1 with “good 4 u” (Polydor), while her “Deja Vu” is at #5 and “Traitor” at #10.

TikTok star Mimi Webb has two songs in today’s Top 20: “Good Without” (RCA) is on track for a new peak at #6 and new single “Dumb Love” enters at #11.
