Warner's Bella Poarch arrived with a bang last week as her music debut, "Build a Bitch," broke records at YouTube. The video earned 75m views, the biggest bow ever for a new artist. She also finished the week #1 at YouTube, outperforming Olivia Rodrigo's heater "good 4 u."
Poarch's YouTube bow was the largest since the world was introduced to Lil Nas X with "Old Town Road." "Build a Bitch" also racked up 12m streams at Spotify last week, hitting the Top 40 on both the Global and U.S. charts.
"From the moment we spotted Bella, we knew we had a star on our hands. She’s already captivated millions around the globe by being her most authentic self, but now she’s able to let her true musical artistry shine," reads a quote from Warner co-bosses Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson. "Bella has a distinct and clear vision and the raw, undeniable talent to see it through. All of us at Warner Records are excited to bring Bella’s world to life—and this is truly only the beginning.”
