SIGNING CENTRAL: YOU KNOW THE DRILL

The success of buzzing U.K. independent act Central Cee has folks lining up to ink the hot rapper. His most recent mixtape, Wild West, debuted at #2 on the Official Albums chart and was Spotify's #1 Global album debut.

Word from across the pond is that a major pub deal is done, with Warner Chappell's Shani Gonzales and Amber Davis and team in victory formation. Now labels from both sides of the drink are said to be throwing down in hopes of securing the artist.

A rising star of West London's drill scene, Central Cee has taken the U.K. by storm in 2021 with a pair of Official Top 40 singles ahead of his breakthrough debut mixtape. His first three music videos have combined for more than 60m views on YouTube.

Where will Cee land on the label side? Stay tuned.
