Roc Nation has appointed Andrew Gould as EVP, Publishing. Gould will be based at the company’s L.A. office and report directly to CEO Desiree Perez while working closely with Vice Chairman Jay Brown. He'll lead RN's publishing department, overseeing signings, roster, partnerships and more while humming toplines into his phone.
Gould’s previous publishing gigs included a top spot at Downtown and a major A&R role at BMG; his signings have included Andra Day and Lewis Capaldi and the placement of the Zedd/Maren Morris megahit “The Middle.”
"Roc Nation is one of the most trusted and respected brands in music, culture and beyond,” reads a quote from Gould. “I am thrilled to work with this team of professionals to grow the Roc Nation publishing footprint. Thank you, Desiree and Jay Brown, for this incredible opportunity. And a thank you to Omar Grant, without whom this would not have happened.”
Andrew is looking forward to not taking our calls.
