The stadium dates of Kenny Chesney’s Chillaxification Tour have been postponed once again. Originally slated for 2020 and rescheduled for 2021, the Country star is now pushing the dates at 18 venues to 2022.
Additionally, the tour will arrive with a completely new show, a different name and new lineup of special guests. Current ticket holders will be honored for the rescheduled dates and fans who are unable to attend can request refunds.
“We have waited for so long, I can’t play knowing I would disappoint a portion of No Shoes Nation who wouldn’t be able to get into the stadiums and the amphitheaters,” shared Chesney. “There’s no way around that this year. As much I hate postponing further, I would hate telling people who waited we won’t be able to let them come due to capacity restrictions. That’s just not fair.”
The Messina Touring Group will announce the rescheduled dates for Chesney’s 2022 tour shortly. For more info, click here.
This is the right move Kenny. Thank you for keeping your fans safe.
