TikTok has taken a quick liking to LPB Poody’s new “Batman” and thumbs are grooving to the rapper’s bare beats as well, sending the Chameleon/Interscope release up the Shazam USA Top 100.
It sits behind Langhorne Slim & Jill Andrews’ 2016 duet, “Sea of Love” (Dualtone), on the Biggest Movers list, rising after a synch on NBC’s This Is Us. TV also drove interest in Bad Bunny & Rosalia’s “La Noche de Anoche” (Rimas)—he was the musical guest on last week’s Saturday Night Live—and MJ Cole & Freya Ridings’ “Waking Up” (892), which enjoyed a placement on Netflix’s Behind Her Eyes. Cole and Ridings race up the Shazam UK Top 100, too, landing right behind another song used in Behind Her Eyes, Kate Nash’s “Nicest Thing.”
Meanwhile, Shazam USA Biggest Mover Aloe Blacc duets with Leann Rimes on a new version of his “I Do” (BMG) that will be part of the deluxe edition of his most recent album, slated for release on 3/12.
