The first addboard of 2021 finds Interscope's Olivia Rodrigo in the top spot at Top 40 with "drivers license" (Geffen), which posts 65 stations prior to its official add date! Def Jam puts another 52 adds on Justin Bieber’s "Anyone" as it looks to close out the panel quickly. Warner lands 34 adds on its first impact of the year with Saweetie’s "Best Friend" f/Doja Cat (Icy). Epic advances its first track of 2021, Zara Larsson’s "Talk About Love" f/Young Thug, by 30 adds. Republic posts 17 more on Pop Smoke’s "What You Know Bout Love" (VictorVictor). A tie for the final berth of the Top 10 Most Added has Epic pulling in 14 more adds on Black Eyed Peas’ "Girl Like Me" f/Shakira and Columbia scoring 14 early adds on The Kid LAROI’s "WITHOUT YOU."
At Rhythm, meanwhile, Warner’s Saweetie kicks off 2021 with “Best Friend” f/Doja Cat picking up 43 commitments for Most Added honors. That's followed by Republic’s Nav with “Young Wheezy” garnering 26 adds. Geffen also has two records in the Most Added column as Lil Durk’s “Stay Down” and Rodrigo’s “drivers license” both grab eight new stations.
And at Modern Rock, RCA’s Dennis Blair had a monstrous week with Kings of Leon’s “Bandit,” which takes the #1 Most Added checkered flag. Other winners include Columbia’s The Kid LAROI with “WITHOUT YOU,” RCA’s Fousheé with “Deep End” and Arista’s KennyHoopla with “ESTELLA//” f/Travis Barker.
