A VR TASTE OF BEER

Epic’s Madison Beer is adding some razzle-dazzle to the VR concert performance with The Madison Beer Immersive Reality Concert Experience. Sony Music Entertainment and Verizon are behind the production, which will be available on demand across digital platforms.

Viewable on PlayStation VR, Oculus VR and 2D streaming music-video channels, The Madison Beer Immersive Reality Concert Experience, showcasing material from Beer’s upcoming Epic debut, Life Support, will feature an ultra-realistic virtual avatar performing in a simulation of New York’s Sony Hall.

Sony delivered a preview at the all-digital CES this week. The Experience is set to debut later this winter.

“Madison Beer is raising the bar of what’s possible in a virtual concert performance and we couldn’t be more excited,” Epic Chairwoman and CEO Sylvia Rhone said. “With this cutting-edge collaboration of music and technology, Madison has brought her innovative vision to life in a unique way while taking it to new heights. This is another example of Epic’s commitment to empowering our artists with groundbreaking opportunities to expand their creative options and engage fans through immersive experiences.”

The newly arrived Sony Immersive Music Studios has partnered with Sony Music and Verizon to support the development of Beer's extravaganza.
