TOP 100 WEEKLY MARKETSHARE:
FULL SPEED AHEAD

With our latest snapshot of the weekly marketshare competition, we shift the focus from total activity to streaming-equivalent albums, but the result is the same as the previous three weeks, as Republic’s autumn hot streak continues.

The House of Lipman snags 24% of SEA on our Top 100 Weekly Marketshare Chart for the week ending 11/12 behind the 1-2 punch of Ariana Grande and Pop Smoke, while IGA holds onto the #2 slot with 18%, the same percentage as the previous week.

Also worth noting is Columbia’s fourth-place finish, as 24kGoldn, the week’s streaming champ, helps boost Big Red three percentage points to 8%.

Our Top 100 Weekly Marketshare Chart (top), which is determined by the number and placement of each label’s releases in that week’s Top 100, shows the relative performance of the major labels by percentage of the top tier of the overall business.

Simply and clearly, the new chart reveals the labels making the biggest impact during that particular seven-day period—meaning the order of battle could differ dramatically from one week to the next, particularly when superstar releases hit the market.
