SADDLE UP, PEOPLE

We present this stunning photo of Navajo voters riding to the polls in Arizona as further election-day inspiration. The story of this group of indigenous participants in our democracy, led by Allie Young (who started "Ride to the Polls" in October to mobilize younger voters), is chronicled in the Washington Post; given the 10-mile trek to the nearest polling place, equine transport proved an elegant solution for those without other means of conveyance.

This beautiful pic was taken by Talia Mayden (@taliamayden) and is used with her permission, for which we are sincerely grateful.
