What is one thing you’ve learned in this pandemic?
I’ll be more open to hiring people who aren’t just within our company or our community.
I think we can look beyond Music City for potential employees. Country music fans and potential candidates can work from anywhere. It would be cool to have a different perspective on what our business looks like. My time outside of Nashville definitely helped me build my business here.
How are you coping without live music?
I am not coping. I repeat: I am not coping without live music!
With the older fans wanting physical, how do you bridge the gap?
This is case by case, but we make physical for whoever wants it. We want to cater to everyone’s needs while still trying to be forward-thinking. I live in the woods, so I get that streaming can be difficult on satellite Internet.
What are you listening to?
It’s always all over the board, but last week’s heavy rotation is a lot of Jameson Rodgers, Jason Isbell and The Wood Brothers.
