UMG's 10:22PM and LVRN have announced the signing of top Houston rap prospect OMB Bloodbath. The deal is a partnership between the two entities in conjunction with Interscope.
Representing the Magnolia City’s historic Third Ward, the self-described tomboy was signed by Celine Joshua, head of 10:22PM, who partnered with LVRN to take OMB Bloodbath’s career to new heights.
OMB Bloodbath first made a name for herself in 2015 with the spitfire missive, “Shootson,” a hardcore chronicle of the gun violence pervasive in her neighborhood. She followed up the success of that song with a stellar series of mixtapes and music videos, showcasing her fierce rap style juxtaposed with a surprisingly angelic singing voice.
"OMB Bloodbath is everything you want in an artist who represents truth and culture. Her lyrically savvy flow and melodic touch strike a chord at the heart of music. I’m excited she is joining 1022 and LVRN, and together with Interscope, we are here to support Bloodbath every step of the way," Joshua said.
LVRN CEO Tunde Balogun added, "LVRN is putting all of our resources behind OMB Bloodbath. She’s one of a kind, an important voice that needs to be heard."
