WORK-AT-HOME SELFIES: FAMILY MANN

In the latest entry in our selfie series, multi-hyphenate Billy Mann is seen here in his home studio with daughter Indie, who strongly urges him to roll off the mids on that vercochte snare and bump the acoustic guitar up half a db, for crying out loud.

Mann is at the start of a new chapter after wrapping up his Green & Bloom/Topline JV with BMG on a high note thanks to the early inking of this week’s Top 10 writer and producer Supah Mario, who has two gold singles on Lil Uzi Vert’s #1 project. He’s also concluding a two-year consulting gig for Red Bull Media, having hooked up their roster with a raft of content initiatives and major hip-hop cuts (see Grammy-nominated TWhyXclusive, sharing the gold for Trippie Redd f/Da Baby’s “Death” and a track on Lil Baby’s #1 set).

When not taking mix notes from Indie, the newly housebound Mann continues working songs from LovelyTheBand, Allen Stone and more; meanwhile, his MCP Management venture is hooking up the multi-talented Alex Aiono with Netflix, iHeart and other big players, winning hearts and minds with producer/tunesmith Christian Medice and co-managing TikTok megastars Dixie and Charli D’Amelio with Barbara Jones of Outshine. The D’Amelios, we understand, can move the music needle pretty profoundly just by dancing. Then again, so can Billy.
