On United Nations Human Rights Day, Cyndi Lauper was honored with the first-ever High Note Global Prize for her LGBTQ advocacy. The High Note Global Prize is the UN’s first award in music for human rights.

Kesha and UN Human Rights Chief External Officer Laurent Sauveur presented Lauper the award during an all-star concert to benefit True Colors United at The Novo in Los Angeles.

Besides Kesha, performers at Tuesday’s concert included Billy Porter, Marilyn Manson, King Princess, Belinda Carlisle, Charlie Musselwhite, Henry Rollins, Perry Farrell and Dexter Holland.
