According to TMZ, infamous rapper 6ix9ine—currently awaiting sentencing for a potential racketeering case, among other counts—has landed a new record deal with 10K Projects.
The deal is rumored to be worth over $10m for two albums.
While the rapper has been in custody and recently took the stand, cooperating in a plea deal, his sentencing has been moved up to December 18, 2019. 6ix9ine could potentially be granted freedom before the end of the year.
If all goes well for the rapper, he could even release a project before year's end—which would undoubtedly draw hoards of interest, to say the least.
Whether or not "fans" approve of 6ix9ine and his antics, one's thing for sure, his music has always performed well in the market. Dummy Boy, which dropped in November of 2018, debuted at #2 on the chart in spite of being handicapped by a mid-week release.
Both of his albums, Day 69 and Dummy Boy are platinum. His biggest single to date, "FEFE" f/Nicki Minaj, is just under 5m in activity to date.
