GREEN DAY PUCKS WITH NHL

Green Day dropped the puck on NBCSN's Wednesday Night Hockey season on 10/9 with a show-opening clip featuring NHL stars skating along to "Fire, Ready, Aim" from the pop-punk legends' forthcoming studio album Father of All (Warner/Reprise). The new track will be featured on NHL on NBC broadcasts throughout the 2019-20 season.

Thus began a two-year promotional partnership between the band and the NHL that includes a headlining performance at the All-Star game in St. Louis on 1/25.

"This NHL season is hereby known as LOUD season...where the toughest athletes to ever lace up a pair of skates meet the baddest rock band on the planet," the band said in a statement introducing the tie-in. "So turn up the volume on your TV sets, fire, ready, aim and enjoy the ride."
