U.K. MIDWEEKS: "SENORITA" FOR #1?

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are eyeing a #1 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart as “Senorita” (Virgin EMI/Syco) edges past Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber at the halfway stage. Over on albums, the Lighthouse Family make a long-awaited comeback at #2.

Post Malone f/Young Thug’s “Goodbyes” (Island) is the highest new single today starting at #5. Outside of the Top 10, Birmingham rapper Mist f/Fredo’s “So High” (Warner Records) sits at #15 and South London collective D-Block Europe look set for their third Top 40 single with the self-released “Home P*ssy” at #29.

On the Official Albums midweeks, Lighthouse Family have returned with their first new album in 18 years, Blue Sky in Your Head (Polydor).

Lewis Capaldi is on course for a sixth week at #1 with Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent (Virgin EMI).

The Killers continue to enjoy a post-Glastonbury sales lift as Direct Hits (Island) rises two places to #4, while fellow headliners The Cure see their Greatest Hits (Fiction) spike six to #13.

J. Cole-led collection Revenge of the Dreamers III (Dreamville) could score a Top 10 debut at #9 while The Plug’s new self-released mixtape, Plug Talk, starts at #18.
