MADONNA'S POWERFUL NEW VIDEO

Madonna has unveiled a compelling, impassioned video to accompany new single "I Rise"—off her fourteenth studio album Madame X.

Produced in partnership with Time Studios and directed by Peter Matkiwsky, the video highlights our global population fighting for rights, recognition and survival. It artfully weaves together footage of the survivors of the Parkland shooting, demonstrations in support of LGBTQ equality, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman's powerful testimony about sexual abuse, first responders reacting to natural disasters and other social justice movements, including systemic racism and veteran's support.

"I wrote 'I Rise' as a way of giving a voice to people who are being oppressed and don't always have the opportunity to speak their mind. People who are incarcerated, bullied, abused, sexually assaulted or punished for their religious beliefs," Madonna says of the video.

"This year is the 50th anniversary of Pride and I hope this song encourages all individuals to be who they are, speak their minds, love themselves and come together to continue to raise their voices for change."

New album Madame X is streaming now on all platforms, via Live Nation/Maverick/Interscope Records.
