CAN DRAKE OUTSTREAM X?

After two days of reports, Drake f/Rick Ross’ “Money in the Grave” (Frozen Moments/Republic) collected more than 10m U.S. streams and currently holds the top spot on both the Spotify and Apple Music streaming charts. But will he be the one to finally unseat Lil Nas X with the most-streamed song of the week?

Lil Nas X's “Old Town Road” was streamed about 35m times in the week ending 6/13. In celebration of the Toronto Raptors' NBA championship, “Money in the Grave” was released one day into the chart week. So, is that shortened week enough for Drake to celebrate his own win?

“Old Town Road” has been the top-streamed song in the U.S. since the week ending 4/11, taking on all the Porsches that have tried to top Lil Nas’ horse: two new releases from Taylor Swift (“ME!” f/Brendon Urie, “You Need to Calm Down”), as well as two from Ed Sheeran (“I Don’t Care” w/Justin Bieber, “Cross Me” f/Chance the Rapper & PnB Rock), plus music by Katy Perry, Shawn Mendes, Miley Cyrus, Cardi B and Logic & Eminem.
