AWAL SCORES LACY

Artist/producer Steve Lacy has signed a record deal with Kobalt’s AWAL that starts with the release of Apollo XXI on his 21st birthday.

Lacy’s releases on his 3QTR label will now go through AWAL.

Lacy, a producer of Kendrick Lamar, Vampire Weekend, J.Cole and others, will start a North American tour in the fall.

“Steve has made a name for himself as an innovative and authentic artist and versatile producer,” AWAL CEO Lonny Olinick said. “He is one of the most important voices of his generation and we feel very fortunate to partner with him as he tackles the next phase of his career as a solo artist.”
