What’s going on at Billboard? The Bible has yet to reveal their chart announcing the winner of the Tyler, The Creator/DJ Khaled race. Normally, that would’ve happened on Sunday even with the holiday weekend. But it’s Thursday morning already.
Sources tell us the Bible scholars are still drawing straws to figure out the merch conundrum. There must be some arbitrary rule(s) to apply when it comes to what does, doesn’t, should and/or might count in regard to D2C.
Nielsen published its numbers; Columbia’s Tyler wrapped with 165k, while We the Best/Epic’s Khaled got 136k. We at HITS gave the crown to Tyler back on Friday, putting IGOR at #1 with 172k; on our chart, Khaled was #2 with 132k. So, what gives? Is late the new norm, buddy? We have an abacus if that helps.
