FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

While most people were asleep, we know where Billie Eilish went—straight to #1 at iTunes and Apple Music on this flipover Friday.

Eilish's Darkroom/Interscope release WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? takes the top slot on both charts. Her “bury a friend” is Top 30 on both songs charts with “wish you were gay” and “when the party’s over” sitting Top 40 at Apple Music.

Beyond Billie, there’s a truckload of new releases in the iTunes Top 20. George Strait's 30th studio album, Honky Tonk Time Machine (MCA Nashville), #2 followed by the debut from Dear Evan Hansen star Ben Platt, Sing to Me Instead (Atlantic).

Yelawolf’s fifth album, Trunk Muzik 3 (Slumerican/Shady Records/Interscope), opens at #4. I Prevail’s Trauma (Fearless) follows at #5; O.A.R.’s The Mighty (Black Rock/Arcade) jams in at #6; and Jake Owen’s Greetings From…Jake (Big Loud) sits postcard pretty at #7.

Whitechapel, not a Christian artist, enters at #8 with The Valley (Metal Blade) while Amanda Lindsey Cook, a bona fide Christian artist, finds House on the Hill (Bethel) rooming at #9. Simple CreaturesStrange Love (BMG) is #10.

The new releases continue into the Top 20 with new titles from The Maine, Locash, Logic, Steve Earle and We Are Messengers plus a previously unreleased set from Marvin Gaye.

On the iTunes songs chart, Blake Shelton’s “God’s Country” (Ten Point/Warner Nashville) takes in the view from #3 while Luke Bryan’s “Knockin’ Boots” (Capitol Nashville) and P!nk’s “Hustle” (RCA) have climbed into the Top 20.

At Apple Music, Logic’s Tuesday release, Supermarket (Def Jam), is up to #9.
