Lollapalooza has made Ariana Grande’s appearance as a headliner official. She’ll be part of the top tier at the Chicago festival with Childish Gambino, twenty øne piløts, The Strokes, Tame Impala, Flume, The Chainsmokers and J Balvin.
The topline resembles Coachella, where Grande, Tame Impala and Gambino will headline. Janelle Monae, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Balvin and Kacey Musgraves are among the acts playing both festivals.
Lil Wayne, Hozier, Gary Clark Jr., H.E.R., Lauren Daigle, Bishop Briggs, Mondo Cozmo and Sharon Van Etten are also on the bill. Festival founder Perry Farrell will perform new solo material with his Kind Heaven Orchestra.
Lollapalooza will feature more than 170 bands on eight stages between 8/1 and 8/4 in Grant Park. Tickets are on sale now.
Grande’s tour opened Monday (3/18) and plays Wednesday night in Boston; Lollapalooza and Coachella are her only festival appearances.
