In a photo that exceeds your daily recommended allowance of music-world icons by a factor of 10 or so, the legendary Berry Gordy and the sublimely gifted Joni Mitchell join biz giant Clive Davis at the latter's soiree and screening of the recent Aretha Franklin concert special. Mr. Gordy, a classic shot of whom recently graced the cover of our special issue tracing the history of black music, regularly accomplishes more before breakfast than we will in our entire lives.
