Interscope Records has released a collaboration between Zedd and Katy Perry, “365,” which they started working on while on tour together last year in Australia.
The two wrote the song together and Zedd produced. Warren Fu (The Weeknd, Daft Punk) directed the video based on a concept that Perry came up with.
“After we got off tour and with our musical value systems even more aligned we continued working together and that’s when ‘365’ started to take shape,” Zedd says. “As it all came together, we knew we had something special. I love how Katy sounds on this record.”
Adds Katy, “Happy to collaborate with such a talented and down-to-earth human being.”
The song deals with AI and love, not the generic products on Whole Foods shelves.
