PENTATONIX TUNED UP FOR NBC TUNE-IN

RCA a cappella marvels Pentatonix will host their third holiday TV special, Pentatonix: A Not So Silent Night tonight at 10pm ET/PT on NBC, immediately following a semi-final episode of The Voice.

Among the scheduled guests are Kelly Clarkson, Backstreet Boys, Maren Morris and Penn & Teller. Grammy wizard Ken Ehrlich (who's also helming the Elvis Comeback Special 50th extravaganza, slated for 2019) is producing.

PTX's latest set, Christmas Is Here!, currently sits at #3 at iTunes, while the deluxe version of A Pentatonix Christmas (2017) is Top 15 and That's Christmas to Me (2014) is Top 30. Look for all these releases to pick up steam as the tinsel gets strung and the mistletoe hung.

A segment in which Jonathan Kalter lights his menorah and throws a phone at his assistant—a manager's Chanukah tradition—is said to be on the bubble.
