U.K. MIDWEEKS: BUBLÉ, MUMFORD OR MIX?

Will Michael Bublé, Mumford and Sons or Little Mix claim this week’s #1 on the U.K’s Official Albums Chart? At the halfway stage, Bublé is in the lead with Love (Reprise) while Ariana Grande is charging toward a third week at #1 on singles.

Just over 6k combined sales separate the Top 3 albums today, with Mumford and Sons at #2 with Delta (Island) and Little Mix at #3 with LM5—which is still being credited as Syco at DSPs despite a public split with the label resulting in a move to RCA.

Boyzone are #4 with Thank You & Goodnight (Rhino), and Paul Heaton is new at #6 with The Last King of Pop (Virgin EMI). Mark Knopfler's ninth solo studio album, Down The Road Wherever (Virgin EMI), starts at #8, and a new Fleetwood Mac 50-track set, 50 Years—Don't Stop (Warner Bros.), is new at #9.

On the Official Singles midweeks, Grande has a lead of 10k combined sales with “thank u, next” (Island) at #1.

P!nk’s “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman: Reimagined (Atlantic) is the biggest Top 40 climber, rising 28 places to #8. The tribute album, which tops the Official Compilations Chart, has two other Top 40 contenders: James Arthur & Anne-Marie’s “Rewrite the Stars” at #13 and Panic! At The Disco’s “The Greatest Show” at #27.

Elsewhere, Ava Max’s “Sweet But Psycho” (Atlantic) climbs 14 to #18, “Strip” (RCA) from Little Mix f/Sharaya J is new at #20, and Ellie Goulding & Diplo f/Swae Lee are up five to #25 with “Close To Me” (Polydor).
