FIREFIGHT LA FUNDRAISER TONIGHT

Downtown Music Publishing VP International A&R Taeko Saito is co-hosting FireFight LA, a fundraising event for the Hill and Woolsey fires. The event takes place tonight, 11/15 from 8pm-midnight at the Echoplex and will raise funds for displaced residents, first responders and animal shelters working overtime to try and keep residents and pets safe.

There will be DJ sets from musical guests Local Natives, Baio from Vampire Weekend, and Twin Shadow. The evening will also feature a raffle and a silent auction with art, experiences, getaways, tattoos, concert tickets, signed instruments and much more. Food will be provided by Pizzanista.

Saito, a seven-year California resident, is one of ten members from the creative community coming together to organize FireFirght LA. They have also launched a GoFundMe page for those who can't attend the event.

FUNDS:
100% of proceeds from FireFight LA will be donated to the community.
1/3 of the funds will be donated directly to LAFD Foundation to help our first responders.
1/3 will be donated to Ventura County Humane Society.
1/3 will be donated to aid the community in rebuilding - purchasing supplies & basic essentials to be delivered directly to residents.
