XXXTENTACION & Lil Pump appear together on a new collaboration, "Arms Around You" (Tha Lights Global/Warner Bros.). Produced by Skrillex, Mally Mall and JonFX, the track also features Maluma and Swae Lee on vocals and weaves effortlessly between Latin, alternative, hip-hop, and pop influences. It's currently #7 on the Spotify U.S. chart and #3 on the Spot's Global Top 50, as well as Top 15 at iTunes and Top 20 at Apple Music. It debuted at #7 on our new Top 25 Streaming Songs chart.
A video is said to be coming soon.
The song came to life this summer after the untimely passing of XXXTentacion. As a friend and fellow Florida artist, Pump reached out to XXXTentacion’s mom, Cleopatra Bernard, in an effort to posthumously create a track that would continue the legacy of her son’s status as an innovative force. Together, they carefully assembled “Arms Around You."
Lil Pump recently scored a global hit with "I Love It," the collab with Kanye West that came loaded with a viral video that has racked up nearly 300m views so far, and is surely destined to be the inspiration for thousands of Halloween costumes next week.
X remains a key voice of his generation; his second album, ? went platinum, yielded 5.2 billion global streams and achieved sales of 3.2 m global equivalent albums. This year, the BET Hip Hop Awards crowned him “Best New Hip Hop Artist,” and his debut album 17 earned “Favorite Album - Soul/R&B” at the American Music Awards.
