HURRICANE’S AFTERMATH: HOW YOU CAN HELP

Hurricane Michael has left devastation in its wake, and communities that lay in its path face a mammoth rebuilding task. In the meantime, the people coping with this disaster are in need—and you can help.

They need materials like:

  • Tarps, Clorox, Wet wipes and trash bags
  • Tylenol and Advil
  • Can openers and plastic silverware
  • Non-perishable protein like tuna and chicken (in pull-top cans), peanut butter
  • baby formula
  • All-sized diapers, including adult
  • Gas cans
  • Charcoal
  • Tea and coffee
  • Pet food and kitty litter

Donation and volunteer information can be found here.

Amazon, Walmart and Publix gift cards are also being procured from cash donations and given to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office for distribution to people in need, particularly those in areas that aren’t accessible by the general public.

Amazon or other shipped donations can be sent to 38 Suzanne Drive, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459. Thanks for helping.
