King, Holmes, Paterno & Soriano announced today that veteran music attorney Susan Hilderley has officially joined the firm as partner.
Hilderley has been of counsel to the firm since October 2017, expertly handling a wide variety of of matters for the firm’s clients, including major label joint ventures, distribution & funding agreements, publishing deals, and sales of significant publishing and master recording catalogs.
Hilderley received her B.A. in psychology summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, and her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. She was co-creator and instructor for the UCLA School of Law Music Industry Clinic, and previously Head of Business and Legal Affairs at Interscope Geffen A&M Records, a division of UMG.
Managing partner Howard King declared, “It’s a pleasure to finally have an adult in the room.” Which is something that's never been said about us.
