ANOTHER RUNG ON JACOBS’ LADDER

David Jacobs has been upped to West Coast GM at Mom+Pop by co-owners Michael Goldstone and Thaddeus Rudd. He came to the indie label in 2015 as VP Promotion.

"David has been an integral and influential part of Mom+Pop's growth over the past three years,” said Goldie. “While he's been impactful breaking the likes of Alice Merton and Flume at radio, now as our West Coast GM, he'll be involved in all things M+P and our overall efforts in Los Angeles. Plus, I find it so endearing when he calls me Pop.”

For his part, Jacobs is, of course, “thrilled” by the promotion as well as the opportunity to “help the label plant roots on the West Coast,” adding, “I cannot thank Goldie and Thaddeus enough for this opportunity, and I’m so excited to see what new heights this great team can take Mom+Pop to in the coming years. Best of all, Goldie promised he’d sign my copy of Pearl Jam’s Ten.”

The USC grad came to Mom+Pop after moving up rung by rung from Rocket Science to Fearless to Epic to Atlantic, where he worked projects at Alternative radio and alphabetized Craig Kallman’s massive vinyl collection.
