J. COLE'S "ALBUM OF THE YEAR (FREESTYLE)": IT'S A SINGLE

Dreamville/Roc Nation/Interscope's J. Cole has dropped a new single, "Album of the Year (Freestyle)." The track, which Cole says is part of a forthcoming mixtape, The Off Season, showcases the prodigious chops of the hip-hop superstar; he throws down the gauntlet (over the Nas classic "Oochie Wally") with an urgency we haven't heard in a minute. You can check out the freestyle (which is available via all DSPs) below.

Cole's KOD, you'll recall, is one of 2018's biggest albums, debuting at #1 in April with nearly 400k.
