As this week’s biggest mover on the Shazam USA Top 100, Travis Scott leads a slate of newcomers while the effect of Love Island on the Shazam U.K. list has pulled out of port.
Scott’s “Sicko Mode,” the top selling single from his ASTROWORLD (Grand Hustle/Epic) hits #20 on the U.S. Top 100, beating out 6Lack f/Banks’ 2016 track “In Between” (LVRN/Interscope). “In Between,” a bonus track on Free 6lack, enjoyed a spike after a synch on Starz’ Power, which helped make it the biggest mover on the Shazam U.K. Top 100.
HBO’s Sharp Objects gave The War on Drugs’ “Thinking of a Place” (Atlantic) a nice shot in the arm; “Trip” (10 Summers/Interscope) is Ella Mai’s first single since “Boo’d Up.”
The 7/30 finale of ITV2’s summer hook-up hit Love Island helped push Ed Sheeran’s “All oh the Stars” and Sleeping at Last’s cover of The Police’s “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic” high up the U.K. list.
