The House of Goodman has been the source of breaking acts among Nashville majors over the past year or so, with Kane Brown and Luke Combs nabbing two of the Top 10 country albums YTD and Old Dominion and LANco making big noise. Superstar Miranda Lambert, meanwhile, got huge acclaim and awards love for her superb set The Weight of These Wings (see Part 2 of her candid interview with Holly Gleason in this issue); she and Old Dominion both scored at the ACMs. With his trusted team, led by John Zarling, Ken Robold and Steve Hodges, firing on all cylinders, Goodman continues to make major inroads on the signing front, re-inking star Brad Paisley and closing Riserhouse’s Mitchell Tenpenny (one of our Ones to Watch) and the Shopkeeper-repped Tenille Townes.
