U.K. CHARTS: EZRA LOADS IN AT #1

George Ezra has scored his first top hit on the U.K. Official Singles Chart with “Shotgun” (Columbia) six weeks post release. Over on albums, Panic! At The Disco had the chance of a #1 scuppered at the last hurdle by the seemingly never-ending popularity of The Greatest Showman soundtrack.

Pray For the Wicked (DCD2/Fueled by Ramen) ends the week at #2 after falling just over 2k combined sales behind Showman (Atlantic), which spends its 21st week at #1.

XXXTentacion is being honored by British fans too as his ? (Bad Vibes) returns to the Top 5 at #4, while 17 climbs to a new peak of #11. “Sad!” has risen 26 places to reach #5 on singles, while “Moonlight” and “Changes” also reach new personal bests at #17 and #22.

Ezra’s “Shotgun,” with a lead of 6.5k combined sales, rose one place to #1 on the U.K.'s Official Singles Chart. He previously peaked at #2 and #3 with “Paradise” and “Budapest,” respectively.

Cheat Codes & Little Mix are this week's highest new entry with “Only You” (Syco) at #32.

Tracks moving up include Years & Years “If You’re Over Me” (Polydor) jumping two places to #6, “Youngblood” (Capitol) by 5 Seconds of Summer at #11 and Jonas Blue f/Jack & Jack’s “Rise” (Virgin EMI) up five places to #12.
