TOP MONEYMAKERS: STAR WARS

Post Malone continued to rake in the dough on the third week of release of beerbongs & Bentleys, with two tracks in the Top 5 of our Songs Revenue Chart and 14 remaining in the Top 50 (compared to 17 the previous week). There has been some slippage on every one of those tracks’ tallies, but that’s typically how it goes.

By contrast, Childish Gambino’s game-changing “This Is America” remained the top earner in its second week with its revenue essentially flat—and that is not typical.

Two tracks make their debuts on the leaderboard: the debuting “Shoota” from Playboi Carti f/Lil Uzi Vert landing at #7 and the prophetically titled Bebe Rexha-Florida Georgia Line collab “Meant to Be” one slot below it on a 6% uptick. A slot below Bebe is her WBR labelmate Blocboy B, whose “Look Alive”—with OVO Sound co-founder Drake riding shotgun—climbed #13-9 and cleared the six-figure milestone but made 8% less cash than the previous week.

Those two hits from the Bunny helped, along with Cardi B and company’s “I Like It,” enabled Warner to slip past Sony in the marketshare tabulation, which looks like this:

UMG 67%, WMG 18%, Sony Music 15%
