TOP MONEYMAKERS: CHILDISH WITH A BOUQUET OF BEERBONGS

A sense of normalcy has returned to our Songs Revenue Chart following the total takeover by Post Malone and his smash beerbongs & Bentleys. The week’s featured player is Childish Gambino, who dropped a bomb on the culture—and became the top earner—with his modern-day protest song and Hiro Murai-helmed video, “This Is America.” But don’t feel bad for Post, who holds onto five slots in the Top 10 and still has 17 tracks in the Top 50.

The other Top 10 debut is Travis Scott’s “Watch” featuring Kanye West & Lil Uzi Vert. Maintaining its presence on the leaderboard is Drake’s “Nice for What,” while “God’s Plan” re-enters after being rudely shoved out by Post the previous week.

Counterintuitively, Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J. Balvin’s “I Like It” goes #18-9 despite a 9% slippage. Indeed, if you click here, you’ll find a minus sign in front of practically every percentage in the “Change” column of the chart.
