WEST’S NEW DIRECTION

This time it’s true. Kanye West has parted ways with manager Scooter Braun and his legal team, led by attorney Peter Paterno. Insiders confirm West had asked Braun and Paterno to focus solely on him full-time—a request that they declined to meet. Nonetheless, we understand the parting of ways was amicable, and it’s safe to assume that some deals could still be done between the parties in the future.

We reached out to the offices of Paterno and Braun, but reps declined to comment.

Does this mark the return of West’s longtime co-manager/confidant Izzy Zivkovic? Stay tuned as the Def Jam star prepares to drop two albums (one with Kid Cudi) in June.
