RCA'S IN THE SLOAN LANE

Sasha Sloan, whose debut single “Ready Yet” has amassed more than 10.5m streams on Spotify, has signed with RCA, releasing her debut EP, sad girl, today. Having written for Tinashe, Camila Cabello, Charli XCX and others, the Bostonian recently wrapped her first U.S. tour and will next play shows with Oh Wonder and appear at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Bonanza Campout and Common Ground Festival. Gathering to recite the tongue-twister “Sasha sings sad songs by the seashore,” are, from left, RCA Chairman & CEO Peter Edge, RCA Director A&R Chloe Weise, manager Rupert Lincoln, Sloan, RCA Head of A&R Keith Naftaly, RCA Co-President John Fleckenstein and RCA EVP West Coast and Publicity Mika El-Baz.
