FIRST AID FOR INTERNATIONAL
WOMEN'S DAY
In honor of International Women’s Day (3/8), and the anniversary of their 2017 release, Columbia’s First Aid Kit dropped a live version of their blistering feminist anthem “You are the Problem Here.” This new rendition will be included on the special 7” the sibling duo is planning to drop for Record Store Day (4/21). The song has a rock intensity and lyrical venom that's a considerable distance from the pair's tasteful, often dreamy earlier work.
"We are donating all the proceeds from the song to Women for Women International,” say FAK's Söderberg sisters, Klara and Johanna. “We think they're doing such important and great work and want to support them in the fight towards making this world a better place for women. This is our little contribution."
