WORDEN'S ROLE EXPANDS

In November, we revealed that KROQ APD/MD Lisa Worden was joining iHeartMedia as Alternative Brand Manager after 22 years at the L.A. Alternative flagship, reporting to Chief Programming Officer Tom Poleman and National Programming Group EVP/GM Brad Hardin. At that time, it was known that, in addition to overseeing iHeart Alternative stations, she would also serve as VP of Programming at KYSR (Alt 98.7). Today, it was announced that she'll now oversee all programming for the station as Program Director.

“Having Lisa’s wealth of programming experience now available to us as a resource, it made logical sense for her to take a much more active role in the day-to-day as the PD of Alt 98.7 and we look forward to tapping into her skills,” said Andrew Jeffries, EVP West Division for iHeartMedia. “Her relationships within the industry combined with her knowledge of the format, specifically Los Angeles, will help accelerate the growth, of an already very successful station, into 2018. Now, please excuse me. The All Blacks are on the telly.”
